Representatives of K. Sagadiev International Business University (UIB) visited the Psychoanalytic Association.
The meeting was attended by Gulnur Akhmediyarova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social and Humanities Sciences at UIB, and Alma Anarkulova, a university librarian. Third-year students of the “Management of Socio-Psychological Processes” program also visited the Association.
The Psychoanalytic Association was represented by Anna Kudiyarova, Director of the Central Asian Institute of Psychoanalysis and psychoanalyst; Gulzhan Amangeldinova, President of the Psychoanalytic Association and psychoanalyst; and Zhannur Daurenbekova, a psychoanalytically oriented psychologist.

During the meeting, the students had an opportunity to communicate with representatives of the psychoanalytic community, ask questions of interest to them, and learn more about psychoanalysis, the professional work of psychoanalysts, and opportunities to further explore this field.
At present, UIB is the first and only university where the fundamentals of psychoanalysis are taught as a separate academic subject.

During the visit, copies of the book Fundamentals of Psychoanalysis in Kazakh were purchased for the university library. The author of the book is Anna Kudiyarova.
The meeting gave students an opportunity to learn more about the psychoanalytic approach, meet representatives of the professional community, and become acquainted with psychoanalytic literature available in Kazakh.
